Megaraptor

Megaraptor is an annoying subject for paleontologist, because it was classified during a long time as a dromeasaurid, like the raptors (Velociraptor, Deinonychus ...), and finally, 'cauz of its size, it was re-classified into the carnosaurid... and then re-re-classified as a coelurosaurid !
It lived during the late Cretaceous (maybe Coniacian to Santonian) in Patagonia ... Actually, we still don't know if it's an allosaurid, a carcharodontosaurid, a megalosaurid or something totally different.

Megaraptor est un sujet gênant pour le paléontologue, parce qu'il a été classé pendant longtemps comme un dromeasauridés, comme les raptors (Velociraptor, Deinonychus ...), et enfin, Cause de sa taille, il a été re-classifiés comme un carnosauridé, et finallement en tant que coelurosauridé !
Il a vécu pendant le Crétacé supérieur (plus precisement entre le Coniacien au Santonien) en Patagonie ... En fait, nous ne savons toujours pas si c'est une allosauridé, un carcharodontosauridé, un megalosauridé ou quelque chose de totalement différent.
